Ultralight, Free-Standing and Dual Side Doors!
The Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 is an ideal two-person, ultralight backpacking tent for three season use. The Copper Spur UL2 is free-standing and no stakes are required to pitch this backpacking tent.
The tent body on this ultralight backpacking tent uses ultra lightweight nylon on the lower portion and polyester mesh on the upper portion which creates excellent ventilation and there are two side-entry door.
The hub/pole design make set up quick and easy, the poles and stakes use eco-friendly anodizing and the Copper Spur UL2 includes 10 Superlight aluminum J stakes.
To extend the life of the Copper Spur UL2 tent floor, I recommend using a Big Agnes footprint. The Big Agnes footprint also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles and stakes.
