The Big Agnes Fly Creek UL1 is an ideal one-person, ultralight backpacking tent for three season use. The Fly Creek UL1 is free-standing and no stakes are required to pitch this backpacking tent.
The tent body on this ultralight backpacking tent uses ultralight breathable nylon rip stop on the lower portion and polyester mesh on the upper portion which creates excellent ventilation. Entry is thru the single door at the wider end of the Fly Creek UL1.
The single hub/pole design makes set up quick and easy, the poles and stakes use eco-friendly anodizing and the Fly Creek UL1 includes 11 Superlight aluminum J stakes.
To extend the life of the Fly Creek UL1 tent floor, I recommend using a Big Agnes footprint. The Big Agnes footprint also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles and stakes.
